3 months and counting

This is an update post

(seems to me like this is the only thing I’ve been doing lately)

The truth is, I don’t know what direction to take with my blog. Now that I’m back in France, being a “veggieoverseas” blogger doesn’t make sense anymore.

I do love writing in English and sharing my life as an expatriate but now that I’ve left, there is a part of me who wishes I’ve kept writing in French. It’s like having two homes and one catches on fire. You still have somewhere to go but don’t know what to do once you get there because you’ve still lost something.

But this experience has made me more honest than ever. I’ve been looking for a job for two months now. And by looking I mean searching everywhere in Europe. I have a preference for Germany and The Netherlands, just because I’ve head great interview experiences over there and I like the way of life. It’s honest and it fits me, the new me that is (the more upfront and honest me).

I’ve also been reading, a lot! More like re-reading classic french and russian books. They never get old but always get better. Right now, I am page 26 of Fear by Stefan Zweig. Granted, he’s not Russian nor French but my mom and I love him.

Shout out to NortyVegan for fueling my sugar addiction and to all the German recruiters I’ve had on the phone who loved my overbearing honesty.

I have no idea what to do with my blog either! I had my blog centred around products I was selling at the time, but I have moved on to natural haircare products and was going to start some sort of haircare blog – I’m not sure if I should start all over again or what to do. I do think your readers like hearing from you, and even if it is just updates I’m sure we would all be happy with that until you figure out your direction

Hi Kirsty! Seems like we are in the same boat you and I. Let’s keep in touch! I hope we can figure it all out soon
